Currencies

Zen

Zen Currency Mu Online

Zen is the most basic currency in Mu Online.

  • Obtained through hunting or by selling items to shops.

  • Can be traded between players.

Ruud

Ruud Currency Mu Online

Ruud is used to purchase items and skills from NPC Priest James.

  • Binding currency — cannot be traded individually.

  • Obtained through event maps or events.

Event Map examples: Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, Devil Square, Illusion Temple, Doppelganger, Empire Guardians: Varka.

Event examples: Dimensional Roulette Event, Mini Game Event, Ranking Event, etc.

You can acquire ruud through the mastery box earned in events.


Chat Functions

Chat Functions Mu Online
  • General: check the general chat window.

  • Party: check the party chat window.

  • Guild: check the guild chat window.

  • Gens: check the gens chat window.

  • Whisper: check the whisper chat window.

  • System: check the system chat window.

  • Block: open the block user window or check blocked users.

  • Others: adjust transparency and size of the chat.

Block Chat

Block Chat Mu Online
  • Add a character name to the block list to stop seeing their chat.

  • Once blocked, the blocked character's chat is no longer visible.

Check Stats

Check Stats Mu Online
  • Stat points increase a character's abilities (Strength, Agility, Stamina, Energy, and Command for Dark Lord).

  • Press C to check current stat points and distribution.

  • If you have more than 1 extra point, the + button is activated to the right of the ability level.

  • Increase stats by pressing the + button.

  • Quickly increase stats by pressing the mouse wheel button.

  • Use the button on the right to expand/collapse the Effect and Option window.


Move Command

All areas can be traveled on foot, but the Move Command system allows convenient teleport/move to desired maps.

  • Open the movement command information window with M.

  • Move command requires meeting conditions such as level limits and required zen.

  • Areas you can move to are shown in white; areas you cannot move to are shown in red.

Sort Maps

  • Sort by Difficulty: sorts map list based on monster data. Maps at the bottom have higher difficulty.

  • Sort by Alphabet: alphabetical order by name.

Monster information

  • Mouse over the hunting ground list to see main monster information.

  • If you have a monster soul converter, you can see info for maps where souls can be collected.


Command System

Use the command window to access Mu Online community content conveniently.

  • Press D to activate the command window.

Hunting Logs

Hunting Log Button Mu Online

Hunting log is accessible via Mu Helper.

  • Open with the END key, or via the 'Map' on the top left in-game.

Hunting Log Table Mu Online
  • Tabular format showing entire log data for each map.

  • Shows date, level, hunting time, damage, monster kills, and experience.

  • Logs in blue indicate today's date; entries below are past dates.

  • Hunting logs are stored by date — up to 60 days of logs available.

  • Graph format with X-axis as date and Y-axis as value (general, property damage, amount of treatment, number of monsters killed, experience gained).

  • Shows date, level, hunting time, damage, monster kills and experience.

  • Logs in blue indicate today's date.

  • Up to 60 days of logs stored.

  • If you reveal your hunting log window (by checking "Open my hunting log window"), other characters can open and view your hunting log.
